The Scenario Charity has been established for the benefit of the children and young people in the borough of Southwark by advancing their education and by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for the recreation and other leisure time occupation of such children and young people to assist them to grow to full maturity as individuals and as members of society, and so that their conditions of life may be improved.
In 2018 we aim to focus on Music Production and Festivals accredited training delivery, sports clubs development such as Girls and women’s football, the capacity building of the coaches, committee members and volunteers.
We want to reach out to young people and their families in Southwark giving diverse communities the opportunity to work together, one community with one aim of participation breaking down barriers of mistrust, taking away the additional barriers of low income and lack of equipment by providing the resources to raise self esteem giving the community ownership of a project and most importantly opportunities to participate, building up the confidence of the community.
Children aged 8 – 14 young adults and their families participating in a fun focused environment.
The participants will be reached through local agencies and newsletters, the local voluntary sector forums;
Helping young people and their communities is our passion since we first started in 1994 and the joy of seeing young people grow to full maturity as adults and families’ coming closer together is priceless.
We want to help tackle the high crime rates within the boroughs we are impacting, reducing the territorial boundaries young people are afraid to cross, and reducing the high rate of school exclusions and high numbers of young people at pupil referral units through Music, Media Festival events -sport and physical activity.
